Otter Bunkhouse offers lochside accommodation in the popular area of Uig, on the Isle of Lewis, for up to eight people.
The Bunkhouse is ideally situated, directly on the shores of West Loch Roag, in the village of Carishader. Ideal for families, or groups of friends. It provides a comfortable and cosy retreat for walkers, cyclists, surfers, kayakers, and anyone wishing to explore the stunning scenery and wildlife of the Isle of Lewis.
As well as two resident otters, who can be spotted directly from the bunkhouse, there is an abundance of wildlife to be seen on West Loch Roag, including seals, gannets, red throated divers, terns, golden eagles, sea eagles, and the occasional dolphin.
Otter Bothy offers private accommodation for one or two people, in a small but very cosy cabin, with spectacular views across West Loch Roag.
A comfy double bed, basic cooking facilities, ensuite shower room and toilet, and total peace and quiet.
Only a few metres from the shoreline, there aren't many places as close to the water as this!
